As the Toronto International Film Festival gets underway in Toronto, local hot spots are rolling out the red carpet with special events and items for celebrities and wannabes. At Ra Sun Spa, located at Richmond and Spadina, media insiders had the chance on Tuesday to scope out the latest primping techniques from Frizz Ease, Essie, and Ecco shoes. Publicists and journalists alike swarmed the boutique spa and were treated like stars as they sipped on Vitamin Water, styled their tresses, and had their nails painted in this season’s hottest new shades: Sew Psyched, Merino Cool, Little Brown Dress, and Velvet Voyeur.
